Call for Challenges

Proposals will be evaluated by the organizing committee for relevance and significance and will be conditionally accepted if they satisfy the required criteria for the challenge. All papers submitted to the accepted challenge sessions will go through the challenge paper review process, with a timeline different from that of the regular and special session papers. Challenge papers will be shorter than the regular workshop papers, and will be included in the ASRU proceedings and the IEEE Xplore, similar to regular papers. The review process for Challenge papers will be single-blind and the accepted papers will be presented in a separate session and included in the main workshop technical program. If at least 6 papers are accepted to the workshop via the standard review process for a Challenge, then the conditional acceptance of that Challenge turns into a confirmed acceptance. Otherwise, the accepted papers will be moved to relevant Demo sessions. Proposals should be submitted by email to challenges@ieeeasru.org.
