We are excited to launch a mentoring program at ASRU 2025 to support junior researchers in our community. We are now looking for senior researchers to volunteer as mentors. Note: There’s no strict definition of who counts as a senior researcher — if you feel you can share your experience and advice, we’d be happy to have you as a mentor!
As a mentor, you will:
- Provide a few details about yourself (e.g., affiliation, position, research area, contact details).
- Receive an anonymized list of potential mentees, including their research area, topics they'd like to discuss, and mentor preferences.
- Select one mentee with whom you would like to be matched.
- Meet your mentee during a coffee break at ASRU 2025 for an informal conversation.
- Your advice and perspective can make a real difference for early-career researchers, and this program is designed to be a light but impactful way to give back to the community.
